First UFC Gym Location in Ontario To Open in Mississauga This Fall
Mississauga will be the Second UFC GYM Location in Canada; Multiple Locations Planned Across Ontario
Mississauga, Ontario – UFC GYM®, known for its unique Train Different™ approach that combines the world of mixed martial arts (MMA) and fitness, will open its first Ontario location in Mississauga this fall. A preview centre, located at the front of the new facility, is currently enrolling members and offering special pre-opening membership rates.
Also, be on the look out for the world’s first UFC GYM Mobile Experience, a traveling gym complete with punching bags, TRX cables, battle ropes, agility ladders, sandbags and focus pads. The UFC GYM Mobile Experience, designed to explain the concept in a hands-on way, debuted at numerous festivals in Mississauga’s Celebration Square over the past month. The UFC GYM Mobile Experience can be seen at the new Mississauga gym location, as well as at local stores, restaurants, sports bars, city events and festivals.
Located at 3900 Grand Park Drive, the Mississauga location will be the second UFC GYM in Canada. The first Canadian UFC GYM opened in Sherwood Park, Alberta last month. The Mississauga location joins more than 120 UFC GYM clubs and 100,000 members worldwide.
The 10,100 square-foot facility will feature a 24-foot Octagon®, top-of-the-line strength training and cardio machines, battle ropes, agility ladders, bag room, Brazilian jiu-jitsu studio and other functional training equipment for dynamic workouts. The gym’s explosive workout environment uses cutting-edge training techniques inspired by UFC athletes and provides members with everything needed for the entire family to sweat, move, live and Train Different™.

Mr. Bissoon is a seasoned business executive with more than 20 years’ experience working in the US and in the Toronto area. Mr. Bissoon was most recently President of Toronto-based Canadian Bearing, Ltd, one of the largest industrial suppliers in Canada.
Mr. Bissoon is now looking forward to building the UFC GYM brand in Canada with numerous locations planned across Ontario. “For the first time, Ontarians will get a chance to experience what makes UFC GYM different.
